EXPLANATION
Class B foam concentrates is an ecological nature-friendly foam concentrate that has been carefully and controlled using advanced technology for the purpose of preventing and extinguishing the spread of hydrocarbon fires. It is a combination of ecological hydrocarbons and fluuro surface active foaming agents, which are easily biodegradable in nature with high activity, and ecological solvents. It is suitable for use in CAFS systems.
APPS
It is suitable for use where hydrocarbons (such as diesel fuel, gasoline, crude oil) are stored, processed and transported. It is especially used by petroleum and petrochemical companies to protect hydrocarbon storage tanks against fire.
Filmogreen can be ideal for stationary, semi-stationary and emergency response firefighting applications such as:
Hydrocarbon fuel storage tanks
Hydrocarbon fuel industry/processing plants
Refineries and Oil Facilities
power stations
Flammable liquid storage areas
Docks, Shipyards.
C6 Fluorochemicals
The environmentally friendly Filmogreen formulation contains short-chain C6 fluorochemicals produced using a telomere-based process. The telomere process does not produce PFOS and the C6 fluorochemicals are not broken down to produce PFOA. The fluorochemicals used in the concentrate meet the objectives of the EPA 2010/15 PFOA Management Program.
EQUIPMENT
Filmogreen is suitable for use with:
Soft or hard, fresh or sea water.
Dry powder extinguishing agents are suitable for use either separately or in twin agent systems.
Filmogreen properties do not change in case of freezing. It regains its original properties as soon as it thaws.
Filmogreen can be used with low expansion nozzles, monitors, aspirated dischargers such as foam/water sprinklers and non-air aspirated dischargers such as spray/mist, spray/mist sprinklers for rapid fire extinguishing.
